Poems -> Love :  "What is LTTL?"
 
'What is LTTL? ' you ask? What is this force that dominates my thoughts and words?
It is love, love for you, love for him and her, love that soars higher than the flight of birds.

It is not being quiet when a loved one strays, but giving loving correction in hopes of turning one around.
It is not being tolerant of one's sins or other offences, but telling it like it is to one whose heart is bound.

It is rejoicing when others rejoice, and being there when they mourn.
It is a warm embrace, a gift of flowers, or a phone call when ones' heart is torn.

Although one may perceive LTTL as hate, they cannot deny the love behind it.
It is like a clock, ticking every second of the day, however, no need to wind it.

It is in constant motion, ready to dole out love on any given day.
It is waiting for you, so why from it do you let your heart stray?

I love my family no more than you, and you no more than them.
Equal footing is given to all of my loved ones, each a precious gem

To my eyes, balancing out my heart's scale. May I my love never quell.
Does that answer your question? Does that explain how boundless is LTTL?



Live life in love, for to love is to live!
LTTL is what I call my love, "Love Truly, Truly Love". Also the title of my first poem, LTTL is.
