Poems :  Life is like a triathlon
Tags: Life   poems   love   God   guide   spoil   triathlon   teach

It took me a long time
for to understand that delivering
my life to God,
does not mean that I be lazy,
nor that God will carry me on your lap...

It took me a long time to realize,
that the verb to love,
in the dictionary of God,
does not mean to spoil.
It means to prepare, to teach,
strengthen, guide ...

It took me a long time to understand
that life is like a triathlon:
besides seeking to be good,
you have to know how to pedal,
run and swim

Until you reach the end of the line,
which we call DYING.

A poet, a dreamer, a seeker, a hippie, a anarchist... I do not know! A hobo, trying to improve the world. Click to see original Image in a new window
