Poems :  "Salty Water from the Eyes"
Tags: tears   friends   fears

grief hurts deep, it lessens with the passage of time, but it never, ever goes away- Frank Letras

What do you do
when life gets to be too much?
when grief is all that you know
when pain gets a hold on you
and does not want to let you go?

Do you bottle up your feelings?
do you dodge or hide your fears?
do you share them with your friends
and reduce them to tears?
Tell me... What do you do?
where do you run to
so no one can hear your cries?
so nobody can see you shed
salty water from the eyes...
If you need a friend
we will help you mend
If you need a shoulder
we will be your boulder
if you need to cry
don't ask us why
but we will cry with you,
and maybe later we will explain... after the pain,
because that's what friends do.

C'mon punk, make my day
