Be glad for Youth
When it disagrees
With the many ways
Of our life it sees

This must be good
For our success
How else could we
Ever progress

But it should know
What we forgot
That whether they change
Our lifestyle or not

Youth too will age
And come to see
That it again
Will never agree

And maybe in turn
However clever
Will find these antics
Repeat forever

 Re: Avant Garde
I like this poem very much Tony. It is a very refreshing look at youth and it's progression to age and in between how youth views life which older people do not agree with, but when youth becomes old it still is unable to find agreement. When we are young we think we will never age and grow old and I like how you remind youth of the fact that it will age and grow old. I guess it's a circle, like the circle of life, never ending. I like the layout of the poem very much and it is excellently penned with a good strong title. Thank you for sharing. Blessings always.......
