Poems -> Happiness :  The miracle Of creation

The miracle Of creation

In the mist of a flower bloomed
a yellow crimson smile
the stem was perfectly imbedded
into peak of spring time
ripples of running water rushed through
the sunlight kissing the last moments
of spring into the mellow cold air.
Dancing around the corner the
Summer sun waited on the sweet
vigilant roses in all there splendor
Glory.
Slowly as the fruits ripe for eating
My heart stood still
At the beauty of God's creation
Staring through a pair of binoculars
I noticed a bright red butterfly perched on
a bluebell left from spring
Closely my eyes watched in awe
At the miracle of life
Contented with my life
I drew my last breath
of satisfaction

 Re: The miracle Of creation
A bit ominous, the conclusion..."I drew my last breath / of satisfaction"...like you are leaving this life, winking out, or some other thing that will remove you from all the splendor and joy you bring to life throughout this whole poem. Something to definitely mull over, to be sure.
