Hope sometimes comes to us
in pastel shades.
It isn't always
black or white,

I love how you note that hope isn't always a cut and dried thing, that it can come at us in different hues, even different shapes and sizes, I would fathom. The use of "pastel shades" is magnificent! Such soft colors that are often highly-sought in fashion, they bring to mind such wonderful attire...even pastel-inspired argyle, I might add. A brilliant write.

Thank you for this, and your other, positive comments on my work. This was a very personal poem, and it means a lot to me that people relate to it, and understand its positive message. Peace and blessings. Paula. xxx
