Poems :  Stars Whisper

Stars whisper and I hear God
He is gentle
I am a mess
Tenderness shines in the Milky Way

Say your prayers
Broken like the Tower of Babel
Fragmented like a Kafka novel
Alive enough to look out

Birds sing praise
Time circles like apple trees
Existential musings are weak
Self-affirmation crushing

My church is abstract
Me pew nature
The choir of morning
The choir of night

I still hear the stars whisper
