Poems :  Enoch Rests

Gray shadows leave like morning ghosts
Visions of green gossamer hope
Minds with peonies and scarlet windows
Love is new peace underneath time
The lighthouse stands stalwart

She embraces me with light
Blue waters off the Milky Way
Clocks and chimes have old voices
Tides wash away the useless cries
Caleb clears the Nephilim

I am becoming an angel
My flesh stripped away
Trials cleaning the pernicious heart
My soul cleansed by dawn
Rocks in the river divert the streams

Children are innocent flowers of life
Wings fly softly in my dreams
Peace made of golden gates
Every scale weighs the world
Leave the trite, hold the fiery sword

Enoch rests
